Hail poses a significant risk to vines. In just a few minutes, a downpour can damage grapes and cause a significant loss of the current year’s harvest. But the consequences don’t stop there: weakened vines can sometimes take several years to regain their full production potential.
We have chosen to equip some of our vineyards with anti-hail nets, prioritizing young vines, which are more sensitive to climatic hazards. Protected in this way, they can root and grow safely, ensuring their vigor and future production potential. These nets provide an effective physical barrier against climatic hazards and help secure the harvest and guarantee the quality of the wines we offer you, year after year.
An investment for the future
Thanks to this protection, we can preserve our vines, stabilize our production, and continue to offer you wines that are true to our terroir. This investment is part of our commitment to combining tradition and innovation in the service of the vine.
The installation of these nets was made possible thanks to the financial support of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region, with the participation of the Department of Savoie, through Mechanism 203: Investments in agricultural holdings.
We are pleased to share with you this important step, which allows us to secure our vineyard and continue to produce quality wines.
Two vintages from Domaine de l’Idylle distinguished in the 2026 Hachette Guide
We are pleased to share a wonderful recognition: two of our wines have been selected in the prestigious Hachette Wine Guide 2026. A source of pride for our team, but also a wonderful showcase for our Savoyard terroir.
Arbin Mondeuse « Le Coteau d’Albert » – Millésime 2023
The Hachette Guide describes our vintage as follows: “The nose, initially discreet, develops with aeration into peony, violet, and cherry. The palate, equally pleasant and delicate, lively and finely tannic, finishes with pleasant notes of cocoa. It can be enjoyed in its younger years.”
A tribute to the beautiful expressions of Mondeuse, the emblematic grape variety of Savoie, which we cultivate with passion.
Roussette de Savoie « Cuvée Émilie » –Millésime 2023
Regarding our Roussette, the guide emphasizes: “Partial oak aging (80% of the wine) brings finesse and complexity to this Roussette, which is both round and airy, with delicious and flattering aromas of beeswax, honey, linden, and hazelnut, enveloped in vanilla notes. A plump yet fresh cuvée, to be paired after a short aging period with a vol-au-vent or foie gras.”
A wonderful recognition for this vintage that we carefully craft, with the aim of combining indulgence and freshness.
A source of pride for our field
The Hachette Wine Guide is a reference for wine lovers and professionals. Being included in it is a wonderful reward for our daily work in the vineyard and cellar, but also an encouragement to continue our quest for quality and authenticity.
Gold medal for our Crémant de Savoie, awarded at the 34th National Crémant Competition
We are delighted to announce that our 2023 vintage crémant won the gold medal at the 34th Concours National des Crémants.
This distinction rewards the work of an entire team committed daily to producing a quality wine, reflecting the unique character of our Savoyard terroir.
Of the 18 Crémants de Savoie in competition, only three received medals this year, and our vintage was among the winners. A true honor and a wonderful recognition for our estate.
We warmly thank all those who support us, visit us and share our passion for Savoyard bubbles.
This medal encourages us to continue our efforts to continue to promote Savoie through exceptional wines.

Chers clients,
I hope you had a good winter season and that the year is off to a great start!
This spring, I’ll be attending several trade shows. This will be an opportunity to connect with you and offer you a taste of our new vintages!
Jour Fruit I March 31, 2025, Rubanox, Chambéry
An event showcasing vibrant wines, with producers sharing a natural and respectful approach to the terroir. Today, it has become the unmissable wine event in Savoie!
Salon Gourmand I April 14, 2025, Château de Candie, Chambéry
An exceptional setting for discovering wines from around the world and exceptional gourmet products. This trade show is designed for restaurateurs and delicatessens.
Salon des vignerons Epicurvins I March 24, 2025, Cahors
A trade fair dedicated to wine and gastronomy professionals, bringing together a selection of winemakers committed to an artisanal and qualitative approach.
The first wines from the 2024 vintage are now available, with whites offering beautiful freshness and reds with spicy notes and elegant minerality. This cooler vintage has been particularly successful for the 2024 rosé, which is very aromatic.
The entire range is for sale, with the exception of Pinot Noir, which is unavailable due to spring frost.
Still available in the excellent 2023 vintage, our new vintage made from the rare Persian grape variety is worth discovering.
In the vineyard, the pruning season is ending, and we are beginning the work of replacing the vines. The grass is growing, and the first inter-vine passes are necessary. The very mild temperatures make us fear, each year, an early budburst of our vines, subsequently exposing them to frost.
We look forward to seeing you soon, at a trade show or directly at the estate. Until then: cheers!
